LOS ANGELES — The latest movie in Phil Varone’s swinging series, "100% Real Swingers: Ohio," will be released on Vivid.com on Nov. 24.
Varone, the former Skid Row and Saigon Kick drummer, has traveled the country to find swingers from various regions for his movies.
He says that Ohio is known for its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and sports teams like the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians.
However, Varone believes the Buckeye State should also be acclaimed for swinging groups that he says are thriving throughout Ohio.
The one-time rock drummer, who is now an adult movie director and actor, told his swinger friends that he planned to make a movie in Ohio.
Varone then received responses ranging from the Appalachian country in the south to Lake Erie in the north, expressing interest in his film.
He chose five swinger couples from among the applicants and they were filmed during an all-night orgy. Varone believes their "sexcapades" would earn them spots in a "Swinging Hall of Fame," if there ever were one.
