Blacked.com Announces $5K Video Ad Winner

BARCELONA — Blacked.com, in conjunction with Traffic Junky, has announced the winner of its $5,000 video ad contest.

To celebrate the launch of its new high-end anal site, Tushy.com, the team behind Blacked.com worked with renowned ad platform Traffic Junky, to offer a contest in early August, searching for talented video editors.

Open to all individuals, contestants were given a selection of Tushy.com’s best scenes and tasked with creating 300x250, 8- to-12-second video ads.

From the submissions, three entries were chosen and ran on $10,000 worth of Traffic Junky ad inventory to determine the best-performing ad.

The winning video editor would receive a $5,000 prize, and a potential offer to join the team.

The final three ads were:

  • Finalist No. 2 (click here to see submission); and,
  • Finalist No. 3 (click here to see submission).

After running the ads head-to-head on Traffic Junky’s ad network and careful monitoring of many performance indicators, the companies said, the winner was Finalist No. 2.

“We were looking for someone who understands our brand and translate that to an eye-catching ad,” said Greg Lansky, chief creative officer for Blacked.com. “I’m very happy we found that person, but also thankful to everyone else who created amazing ads and took the time to participate.”

“We received an unprecedented number of entries,” said Michael Chan, marketing manager of the company's affiliate program. “The community responded with such an incredible amount of high-quality submissions that we wanted to give everyone fair attention. It was not easy choosing the three finalists.”
