Live Entertainment, which is hosting the awards show, said Monday that female and male performers are encouraged to submit their requests for a nomination by 10 p.m. Thursday. Talent should go to Adultcon and click on “Get Nominated."
Some of the performers already being considered for nominations include Carmen Hart, Sophia Rossi, Sophia Santi, Tera Patrick, Gina Lynn, Shy Love, Kelly Klein, Sunny Lane, Alexis Amore, Mia Rose, Gwen Diamond, Mary Carey, Alana Evans, Vivian West, Devon Lee, Tegan Presley, Nikki Nine, Liv Wylder, Charlotte Stokely, Jesse Jane, Jana Cova, Cindy Crawford, Katsumi, Kayla Stylz, Tabitha Tucker, Lori Lust, Tee Reel, Jack Lawrence, Tommy Gunn, Travis Knight, Randy Spears, Evan Stone and Marcus London.
The industry-only awards show will feature a select lineup of 17 female talent categories. Winners will receive an award known as “The Necklace,” which spells out "Adultcon" with a diamond.
The company in January created the American Academy of Adult Arts and Entertainment for the purpose of nominating and selecting the winners.
The Academy consists of 50 members from all facets of the adult entertainment industry. Five of the 50 will serve as the Board of Governors, which will handle the nomination process.
Larry Flynt will speak at the awards program and be joined on stage by daughter Theresa Flynt, who leads marketing efforts for LFP’s Hustler division.
