LOS ANGELES — Lyrical Vine Entertainment's "Addicted to Sexting" documentary is now available for presale on iTunes.
The movie examines how the sexting phenomenon has impacted society and interpersonal relationships, with perspectives from people in entertainment, politics and medicine.
In "Addicted to Sexting," adult film actresses talk about how the intersection of sex and technology enables them to build more intimacy with their fans, including discussions from Lisa Ann, Alexis Texas, Bonnie Rotten, Nina Hartley, Summer Brielle, Ash Hollywood, Tiffany Tyler, Vanessa Veracruz and Jessa Rhodes.
“I get the most interaction and comments from my fans when I take selfies, as opposed to professional pictures from my shoots,” Brielle said. “The more intimate relationship with our fans is a result of cell phones.”
The film also explores the unintended consequences of sexting when public officials and celebrities are exposed, as well as the best methods for maintaining privacy while sexting.
“That cock shot, or those nude shots can incriminate you later,” Ann said. “So, if someone breaks up with you and wants to show them to all their friends or send them to your job… you’ve got to be careful with that.”
