LOS ANGELES — Ralph Sutton will be in Los Angeles this week to promote “The Motorhead Cruise.”
The radio personality and The SDR Show podcast host will be joined by legendary bands Motorhead, Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies, as well as hard rock loving comedians Brian Posenn and SDR show co-host Big Jay Oakerson, on the cruise from Miami to the Bahamas, set for September 28 to October 2.
“When SDR started about 14 months ago, I realized how much of the podcast universe is on the West Coast,” says Sutton. “So now with ‘The Motorhead Cruise’ less than a month away, and SDR about to have its best month ever, I thought it’d be cool for this born-and-raised New Yorker to head out West!”
“It’s where a lot of my favorite bands spawned from, where most of the porn stars we interview live, and where I can hopefully add a few stories for the show by the time I come back,” Sutton added.
Sutton’s media schedule includes a Monday interview for “The International Bad Boys Hour” with Sam Tripoli of The Naughty Show, from 3-4 p.m. PST, on AllThingsComedy.com.
Tuesday, features Sutton on “Backstage Pass” live with Chris B, from 11 a.m. until noon, PST, on PlayboyRadio.com; and a taped interview for “The Social Underground Podcast,” set to air from 1-2 p.m. PST on CraveOnLine.com.
Wednesday, Sutton is on “Ask Women,” from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. PST, at SideShowNetwork.tv.
Thursday wraps up Sutton’s media tour, with a live, in-studio interview for “Modern Male Radio,” at 8 p.m. PST on LATalkRadio.com.
This week’s “The SDR Show” will feature a never-released show, taped last month live at the Loman Art Festival, featuring The Legions of Skanks and Corey Glover from In Living Colour. To hear an advance peek of the show, click here.
“A true crossover episode!” says Sutton. “Not only did we broadcast live from the Loman Art Festival in Little Italy (a festival dedicated to street art), but Corey Glover of Living Colour comes back to take back the crown of most repeat guest joined by Luis J Gomez and Dave Smith of the Legion of Skanks.”
The SDR Show is heard every Wednesday at TheSDRShow.com.
