Slightest Touch Ready for Australian Distribution, Waiting for U.S.

RICHARDSON, Texas — Stimulation Systems Inc., developer of the Slightest Touch electronic stimulation sex toy, has signed a distribution deal with an Australian company.

Stimulation Systems Inc. owner Norman Comparini told XBIZ he hopes to make a similar distribution deal in the U.S., but guesses that lack of acceptance of electronic sexual stimulation may be the reason why U.S. companies have yet to make serious inquiries.

For now, U.S. consumers can purchase the device at the Stimulation Systems Inc. website , or from its U.K. distributor, SensualEssentials.com .

Comparini said the name of the Australian distributor, which is not yet online and operational, will likely be released in a month.

The Slightest Touch is an electronic device that stimulates the nerve region connected to the three nerve bundles responsible for female sexual arousal. It is meant to maximize orgasmic pleasure and help resolve sexual dysfunction.

Two electrodes stick to the inside area of a woman’s ankle called the Spleen 6 region and, using an intensity dial, slowly send electrical impulses up the nerve paths to the hypogastric, pudendal and pelvic nerve bundles.

Comparini said that, rather than stimulating one or two of these nerve bundles at a time using a vibrator or hand, the Slightest Touch stimulates all three, making the nerves’ response pattern heighten dramatically. He also said for some women using the device, just a slight touch to the clitoris can induce orgasms in minutes.

“The body learns; you’re training the nerve pathway to respond,” Comparini said. “[The Slightest Touch] can help women get into a new realm of sexual experience. It opens pathways and lets them experience new things.”

The Slightest Touch was first developed in 2002 as an electrical stimulation foot massager, but during testing, women found that their feet weren’t the only parts of the body benefiting from the impulses.

Comparini said the company’s initial research was focused on women, but it is in the process of researching nerve pathways in men. The Spleen 6 region is in a different part of the male body — possibly the back of the knee — and once results are official, Stimulation Systems Inc. will release a Slightest Touch designed for men.
