Rainey Stricklin Joins Epoch

LOS ANGELES — Nine-year adult industry veteran Rainey Stricklin will join Epoch as the company’s director of business development starting Monday.

Stricklin will report directly to Epoch Chief Administrative Officer Patrick Curran.

Curran told XBIZ that Stricklin’s primary responsibilities would be servicing current Epoch clients, developing new accounts, branding, creating and implementing new marketing strategies and assisting in communications.

Stricklin will be telecommuting from her home in Phoenix, but will make frequent visits to the Los Angeles area.

Curran said that Stricklin’s diverse background in mainstream and adult made her uniquely positioned to join the Epoch team.

“I’ve known Rainey for a while; she’s always been professional and has never gotten involved in any controversy,” Curran said. “Rainey has a long history in this industry. She is a great talent, writer and marketing representative. With her on board, we can now say that we have the dream team.”

Stricklin joins Epoch from PrideBucks, where she served as vice president for marketing and webmaster relations. Prior to that she founded Detour Interactive, an adult marketing company. Stricklin’s first job in adult was with WebSideStory, also known as HitBox.

“I’m so excited to start this new chapter in my life,” Stricklin said. “I’ve been in the industry for nine years now and it has largely centered around traffic — whether that be affiliate traffic or traffic sales. At this point in my career I’m looking for a change to help me grow professionally, and Epoch has just the challenge I’m looking for.”
