LTASEX Announces Launch of Crowdfunding Campaign

YPSILANTI, Mich. — Like many adult websites struggling to stay open in today’s challenging market, LTASEX is seeking a solution, and turning to its audience for help.

“This isn’t the first time LTASEX has been threatened by site closure, but I’m determined to secure its future,” LTASEX creator and sole proprietor Jerome Stuart Nichols said. “I believe in what I’ve created.”

According to Nichols, since its launch in February of 2010, LTASEX has offered some of the most inclusive practical advice and first-hand wisdom available on sex, relationships and life. In that time, it has grown from a Blogger blog to a full website, rich with information and titillation for people of all lifestyles, with a growing following of more than 22,000.

“I believe that every day LTASEX becomes a more valuable resource to help people in the real world make powerful changes in their lives. This is my positive contribution to the world and I’m hoping the community will help me keep it alive and thriving.”

Nichols says that as the site has grown, so have the costs and time associated with it, and now with an impending layoff, Nichols will no longer be able to fund the site.

In order to keep LTASEX online, Nichols has launched a crowdfunding campaign via Patreon, with an initial goal of reaching $90 per month to cover the recurring costs associated with running LTASEX, and a top goal of reaching $1,100 monthly, enabling him to work on LTASEX as a full-time effort.

If he reaches his current top goal, Nichols plans to begin producing at least eight new blogs and podcasts and four videos per month, with further pledges going to fund more content and a stipend to the site’s volunteer assistant and copy editor.

“I can’t undersell how proud I am of what I’ve done with LTASEX, but with this impending layoff and a little community support, I can do a hell of a lot more,” Nichols said. “I’ve been working on so many ideas and projects for LTASEX, but simply haven’t had the time or the resources to bring them all to life.”

“This layoff will give me the time,” Nichols concludes. “I’m hoping people will see enough value in what I’ve made and have simmering to give me the resources to continue forward.”
