WAAT Media to Offer Mr. Skin on Mobile Platform

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Mobile distribution company WAAT Media has signed an agreement with celebrity babe site MrSkin.com to distribute its reviews and other content for mobile devices.

The centerpiece of the partnership is the special Mr. Skin Mobile Review program that will feature female celebrities’ steamiest and sometimes-nude scenes from current mainstream movies.

“We are delighted to be working with Mr. Skin to bring a new and innovative made-for-mobile entertainment service to movie fans around the world,” WAAT Media Senior Vice President of Programming Marc Brown said. “In addition to current films, we will offer an extensive archival database, which can be searched by the name of the movie star or title of a film. Since we have distribution in over 40 countries reaching more than 1 billion mobile phones, there is enormous potential.”

Mr. Skin Vice President of Marketing Derek Meklir said that the mobile service will include reviews with pictures, video clips, montage features like “Best Of” and “Top 5” lists, plus content from the website that will be converted for mobile access. Additional features include a weekly text messaging response service for subscribers by which users can search through a list of any star’s nude appearances.

“We at Mr. Skin see an amazing ‘skinergy’ with WAAT Media’s unsurpassed lineup of content and carriers,” Meklir said. “WAAT is the best partner for us to enter the mobile arena, particularly since our appeal is universal, with about 45 percent of our traffic coming from members outside the U.S.”
