TEMPE, Ariz. — AMKingdom on Wednesday announced plans to release the sci-fi epic "Saving Humanity" in September.
The movie is the studio's second feature-length film, following the XBIZ Award-winning "Revenge of the Petites" in 2012.
"Saving Humanity" stars four-time XBIZ Male Performer of the Year James Deen, Celeste Star and Sinn Sage. It also features several performers who appeared in “Revenge of the Petites," including 2014 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Riley Reid, Sativa Verte, and Skin Diamond, who won the 2013 XBIZ Best Supporting Actress Award.
The film also stars Anthony Rosano, Andy San Dimas (2011 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year), Ana Foxx, Cindy Starfall, Alex Chance and Ela Darling.
"I am pleased to announce the release of 'Saving Humanity,' which has been a two-year endeavor for us,” said AMKingdom.com owner Kim Nielsen, who wrote and directed the film which was shot over 13 days. “The movie takes adult filmmaking to a new level in terms of production values and continues our effort at AMKingdom to push the boundaries between adult and mainstream markets.
"The message behind the movie, that we are perhaps endangering the world in which we live and losing some of the core values that make us human, will resonate well with a broad audience. I am so proud of the work done by our whole production team and I think the cast did an amazing job in terms of raising the bar for acting in adult features.
"And I look forward to 'Saving Humanity' taking a significant place in the history of adult films in years to come."
In addition to Nielsen, the film marks the return of XBIZ Award-winning cinematographer Jinish Shah, who won Best Cinematography for his work on “Revenge of the Petites." Shah worked as the Director of Photography for "Saving Humanity," while Mark Nicholas serves as the film’s editor.
“Saving Humanity” was filmed on the ARRI Alexa — one of the most popular cameras in cinema today — and AMKingdom believes “Saving Humanity” is the first adult feature film shot using this camera. In addition, the studio said the movie includes extensive choreographed fight scenes as well as numerous digital effects. Digital Dave of XXX Effects created the special effects package.
The film also includes a large dance number set to an exclusive song composed by Nicholas, performed by San Dimas and featuring lyrics from Nielsen.
AMKingdom’s previous feature, “Revenge of the Petites,” received four 2013 XBIZ awards. "Saving Humanity" will hit the streets on Sept. 30.
