PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — OhMiBod said it has tapped Molly Perlich as director of sales in an effort to strengthen its push into the mainstream consumer electronics market.
Perlich joins the pleasure tech innovator after three years with Beats by Dr. Dre. Known worldwide for its headphones, the audio electronics manufacturer was acquired by Apple in 2014.
"During Molly's tenure at Beats, she helped create and strategize visual merchandising for retail fixtures across North and South America," OhMiBod founder Brian Dunham said. "She will bring a fresh perspective to OhMiBod's sales team, and we're excited to have her representing our brand."
Perlich got her start at Beats as a sales coordinator, assisting in the management of a broad set of key accounts such as Target, Best Buy and Zumiez and developing plans for retail point-of- purchase (POP) displays.
Later, she was instrumental in getting Beats' POP program in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup before taking the reigns as the company's POP project manager for the Americas.
"OhMiBod has products in the development pipeline that are nearly ready for release,” Dunham said. “Molly's energy, enthusiasm, and expertise are exactly what we need when introducing these new massagers and accessories to consumers across the country and around the world.”
