LAS VEGAS — Nikki Phoenix and her duo partner JackEL on Friday announced their EDM single “Your Smile” has entered the rotation in three additional U.S. markets, including Power 104 FM in Charlotte, N.C., and Power 98.5 FM in Atlanta.
The song, which has received almost 1.5 million plays on Soundcloud, is now being played on radio stations in Canada, Europe and the U.S.
“It's been amazing to see the amount of support the song has gotten and really, really gratifying to both of us to see that additional radio stations in large markets continue to pick up the single,” said Phoenix, who is also an adult performer and producer. “Both JackEL and I, and our label have been floored by the response from our friends, industry supporters, EDM fans and DJs.
“And we're really looking forward to our next single with three-time Grammy winner Skip Martin, which is due out this month.”
The duo collaborated with Martin on “Two Hearts,” which will be available for purchase across all digital media platforms through their label Sights & Sounds.
Coinciding with the additional airplay for “Your Smile,” Phoenix appeared on “The Mancave” on WMAY in Springfield, Ill., today with Greg Bishop, Johnny Molson and Mike Wennmacher.
She discussed her book “Fit As Phoenix,” which talks about her both her weight loss and modeling career. The book resonated with the hosts, as one of them also discussed losing over 100 pounds.
Phoenix also promoted her distribution deal with Juicy Entertainment, her upcoming releases and her feature dancing appearance at Deja Vu in Springfield, Ill. this weekend.
In support of their single on Power 104 and Power 98, Phoenix and JackEL also appeared in an on-air interview with hosts Mr. Holiday and DJ Phat Potato.
The two also got to plug their JackEL 'd Phoenix song “Ballroom Zombies Apocalypse Remix," a Trap genre track.
Meanwhile, Phoenix’s “Candy Lickers,” the first title in her distro deal with Juicy, is nearing release. The video features Ava Addams, Tia Cyrus, Jessica Bangkok, Riley Reynolds, Alex Tanner, Sadie Santana, Eva Long and Hannah Hartman.
“We are very excited about this first release with Nikki,” saiid Jerry E., owner of Juicy Entertainment. “Not only does she understand how to market herself and her line, she's also given us some innovative tools to help market herself and help her with sales.”
