XnxxFree.net Ordered Transferred to Xnxx.com

LAS VEGAS — Another cybersquatting claim has brought down a bogus “Xnxx” site created to lure adult tube site users.

Last week, NKL Associates S.R.O., the Czech Republic-based company that has trademarks for Xnxx.com, successfully argued before a WIPO arbitration panel why XnxxFree.net should be transferred to its operation.

Panelist Jonas Gulliksson, in his UDRP opinion ordering a transfer, said that operators of XnxxFree.net used an almost identical logo and a similar design to Xnxx.com’s website for their own gain.

XnxxFree.net’s operators not respond to the complaint’s claims, which were made in February.

“The respondent desired to disrupt the complainant’s business and to divert Internet traffic away from the complainant’s website by creating a likelihood of confusion as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement of the website of the disputed domain name,” Gulliksson said. “The respondent is also using the disputed domain name to provide the exact services offered on the complainant’s website.”

NKL Associates, represented by attorney Marc Randazza of Randazza Legal Group, has filed numerous cases against copycat adult tube sites like this one in the past two years.

In about all of the cases, NKL Associates has succeeded before WIPO arbitrators, later benefiting by taking over and re-branding the transferred sites.

In those two years, NKL Associates has been awarded the domains Xnxx.pro, HQXnxx.com, New-Xnxx.com, XnxxNow.com, XnxxHDTube.com, XxnxVideos.me, XxnxVids.com, XxxnxMovies.com, XxnxToday.net, AllXnxx.com and now XnxxFree.net.
