LOS ANGELES — Vivid Radio will celebrate Pride Month with four one-hour programs starring members of the LGBT adult entertainment community.
The shows will air on Fridays in June in the 5-6 p.m. (PDT) time slot on VividRadio.com and the SiriusXM app Channel 791. Anyone can call in to talk to the hosts at (855)-99-VIVID
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride month (LGBT Pride Month) is celebrated annually in June and includes a month’s long series of celebrations, parades, parties, workshops and concerts.
Kicking off the special programming on Friday, June 5, at 5 p.m. will be the legendary drag diva Chi Chi La Rue, the multi-award winning director of hundreds of bisexual, gay and heterosexual films who owns Channel 1 Releasing.
With an adult industry career dating back to the late 1980s, La Rue was selected as one of Out Magazine’s Top 50 Most Influential People in the LGBT community.
Next up, on June 12 at 5 p.m. are transgender performers Venus Lux and Mia Isabella, who both will co-host for an hour call-in show talking about their lives, careers and having fun.
Of Chinese/Mongolian descent, Lux was born and raised in San Francisco and now owns her own studio, Venus Lux Entertainment. Chicago native Isabella is of French/Puerto Rican/Jamaican heritage and has a fashion degree from the Paris Fashion Institute. She has appeared as a voiced character in the video game “Grand Theft Auto V,” and was among the adult performers in the welcome home party scene in the Season 7 premiere of "Sons of Anarchy."
On June 19 at 5 p.m., the host will be bisexual California girl Jayden Cole, who is of Irish/Lebanese background. She has been a Penthouse Pet, Twisty’s Treat of the Month and MissExoticDancer.com.
On June 26 at 5 p.m. lesbian performer Mindi Mink will host the last show in the Pride Month series. Prior to her adult performing, Mink worked in construction as a manufacturer’s rep, on the contracting side, and in sales and marketing for about 13 years.
She started doing webcam modeling, she says, “just to see what it was like and it went really well.” Mink entered the adult entertainment industry with an exclusive studio contract.
