iFriends Signs On to Sponsor WIA

LOS ANGELES — Adult live cam company iFriends.net has signed on to sponsor Women In Adult.

WIA’s mission is to offer women from all sectors of the adult industry an empowering environment to cultivate relationships, explore business opportunities and inspire one another.

Officials at iFriends, which operates a webcam network that has grown to more than 525,000 (mostly female) models since its launch in 1998, said the company “is very gratified” to be associated with WIA.

“We have a strong and longstanding commitment to operating our webcam site in a socially responsible manner, and we’re always looking for additional ways to reach out and work with models to make sure we do that,” said Amanda Adams, iFriends' director of social media and model liaison. “We eagerly support WIA’s mission of building the community of women in the adult industry.”

The sponsorship will provide support for all WIA activities, and iFriends will be featured at all offline events, as well as on WIA’s Facebook page, XBIZ.net industry forum and other online venues.

“We’re extremely pleased to enlist the support of iFriends in our efforts to highlight the important contributions made by women in adult entertainment, and to cultivate relationships and opportunities within that community,” said Kristen Kaye, CEO of K Squared Dynamics Inc. “With iFriends’ sponsorship, we are able to advance our goals through annual workshops, trade show special events and other social gatherings.”

In February, veteran online industry executive Kaye was named director of WIA. Kaye heads the organization’s efforts in the digital media business community with a focus on bolstering WIA's community value.
