LOS ANGELES — XBIZ Award-winning performer Angela White is the subject of a new short documentary titled “The Porn Identity” that was produced by the media network PLGRM based in Melbourne, Australia.
In the seven-minute piece, the Australian star discusses managing her own brand, her rich academic background, thesis writing and her experience working in the porn industry for 12 years.
“Well for me pornography functions as a space where I’m able to be very creative with my own sexual desires,” White says. “I’m able to express myself. I’m able to explore the limits, the boundaries of my sexuality.
“I’m definitely a porn star because I love what I do. I love being creative with my sexuality and expressing it on camera. I’m really amazed at how many things I’ve been able to try in pornography.”
White, who won the 2015 XBIZ Award for Adult Site of the Year for her work on AngelaWhite.com, talks about how she’s immersed in the production process from beginning to end. She even edits her own content for the site she launched in 2013.
“It’s not the hedonistic lifestyle that one would imagine,” she admits. “It’s a lot of late nights up with coders and web developers.”
White also reveals her website membership base includes fans from the Deep South and The Bible Belt of the U.S.
“Utah is a big one,” she says.
The doc features plenty of footage from her recent AGW Entertainment release, “Angela Loves Women,” which has received an Editor’s Choice rating from XBIZ.
“The Porn Identity” can be viewed on the PLGRM website or on its YouTube channel.
