DENVER — Director Tarantino XXX announced today that he has partnered with crowdfunding site CumFundMe.com.
The platform allows adult performers, models, or independent filmmakers to create fundraising options for projects or personal causes.
Tarantino XXX will debut two film proposals: a parody film of mainstream director Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film "The Hateful Eight," and the remake of Paul Thomas’ 1997 film “Bad Wives.”
The director said he plans to produce, shoot, direct himself and release later this year.
“I’m so honored so excited to be partnering up with CumFundMe.com on this, I think crowdfunding is the best thing going right now especially in mainstream independent filmmaking with the success of some mainstream films like the "Veronica Mars" movie or the upcoming "Super Troopers 2" which were funded by crowfunding sites like Indiegogo. I believe it’s something like that the adult industry needs to sort of change the game."
He added, “With these project campaigns I’ll be launching on CumFundMe it will give fans and consumers a chance to actually be a part of an adult film production which is what some of them only dream about."
Contributors will be able to receive different perks/gifts ranging from photos, merchandise, free adult DVDs or memberships, to booking a girl for a scene, a visit to the movie sets, a role in the film as an extra, and an assistant director role with Tarantino XXX.
“We’re very pleased and excited about collaborating with Tarantino on being the solution for his funding needs, we are very excited to see his ideas manifest, it’s great to see an independent director like himself start an adult crowdfunding campaign to help create and release his projects on the same playing field as the big production companies," CumFundMe CEO Ricky Booker said.
The campaigns for the "Hateful Eight" parody and "Bad Wives" remake will launch on CumFundMe.com this weekend which will include a special intro video by Tarantino XXX.
