LOS ANGELES — Smash Pictures’ next release explores the taboo family relations theme with a group of up-and-coming performers finding themselves in sticky situations.
Directed by seasoned pro Jim Powers, “Daddy’s Home 3” features performances by Sydney Cole, Lucy Tyler, Kasey Warner and Rahyndee James as naughty stepdaughters.
“The people who are into the ‘Friends & Family’ series are going to be fans of this one too,” said Wyatt Case, the new vice president of Smash. “We custom ordered all the outfits for the girls.”
The step-dads include proven studs Tommy Gunn, Marcus London, Steven St. Croix and Evan Stone.
The title, which will ship on April 20, is the second one that will feature a new look for Smash, which has changed its logo and box covers.
“Our title ‘Cuddles’ with Ariana Marie on the cover was the first one. It’s a more streamlined, simplified, cleaner look,” Case said. “It’s not as busy.”
Case, a sales vet who worked for 12 years at JM Productions, said Smash is looking to ramp up to two new releases per month with lots of other surprises in store this year.
“We have a lot of new content,” he said. "The sky’s the limit.”
