“My hat is off to this group,” said Harvey, after he announced that the company has broken its previous sales record this year with $109 million in sales for 2006.
“I credit 350 amazing people for this record-breaking year, from the employees who take the orders to those who pack the boxes to the marketing and creative leaders who determine what Adam & Eve will sell,” he said.
Harvey continued to say that its online operations increased 83 percent over last year and doubled the number of new customers.
Privately held parent company PHE Inc. also owns the brands Accolade Arts, Private Lives, Secret Passions and Video Gold.
Adam & Eve Publicity Director Katy Zvolerin told XBIZ that its best sellers include DVDs and vibrators. She said, so far, that Digital Playground’s “Pirates” topped their DVD list when it comes to its print catalog.
“Some favorites by name are Helping Hand Vibe, Taffy Ticklers and any of the Rabbits,” Zvolerin said. “Other top movies are ‘O: The Power of Submission,’ ‘Tailgunners,’ any of the Jenna titles and ‘Emperor.’”
