HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Sportsheets announced today that it is gearing up for the International Lingerie Show (ILS) in Las Vegas with a number of sales reps and upper management in attendance.
The company said its aim is to educate not only retailers, but also distributor’s sales reps on their latest product lines and how to effectively market and sell them.
“ILS has always been a great show for us,” sales specialist Emily Silva said.
She added, “There is always foot traffic and a lot of customers in attendance checking out what’s new in the marketplace and what they can add to their stores. We are also very grateful for the relationships that we have with our distributors so it is very important for us to go out there and help ‘man’ their booths and show them that they have our support. We aren’t a company that just ships them product and says good luck. We try our best to assist them in marketing and merchandising and that’s why Sportsheets has grown every year since we first launched 22 years ago.”
Sportsheets executive administrator of marketing Joanne Queenin noted that the company has seen a surge in sales in the last few months thanks to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie.
“Even a month after the movie release we are still seeing large volumes of sales on our entry-level to advanced products and we're anticipating the sales to only grow as the movie moves out of theaters and onto other media platforms like online streaming devices and pay per view. We are very excited to see how the success of the movie will play out at ILS,” Queenin said.
