Shelf talkers are graphic displays attached to the front of retail shelving.
Smash Pictures Vice President Stuart Wall believes that while a shelf talker is a simple marketing technique, it will pay off in increased sales.
“In today’s oversaturated market, to stand out and individualize your studio name by branding your studio logo is key,” Wall told XBIZ. “These new shelf talkers, which we start shipping out to distributors and stores this month, will give us our own shelf space. When a customer is shopping for an adult movie that they want to rent or buy, the shelf talker stands out, and will beckon them into the aisle devoted to our studio.”
Smash Pictures meanwhile is beginning the casting process of one of its most successful series, “Cheating Housewives.” The fourth installment of the award-winning series begins production next week and is slated for an April release. Veteran shooter Mike Metropolis returns as director.
