NEW YORK — Assylum.com has announced major enhancements to its 4K Ultra HD production process.
These include new, handheld 4K camera rigs fitted with ultra-lightweight Kino-Flo onboard lighting systems to provide front fill in dynamic situations, according to Lawrence Neil, the CEO of Two-Flame Media LLC, which operates Assylum.com as well as its affiliate program, DerangedDollars.com.
The handheld rigs complement larger dolly-based rigs and enable upcoming scenes to combine 4K video with live-style, authentic action and close-up shots from any angle.
The new production technology has been utilized in the upcoming Assylum.com scene, “The Anal Sacrifice of Savannah Fox,” due to be released on Tuesday.
Assylum.com was one of the very first adult websites to produce videos in 4K and offer 4K downloads to members.
“Quality and authentic, live-style action have always been our top priorities. But a year ago, to get good quality in 4K, we had to settle on an enormous camera,” Neil said. “This limited our ability to get a lot of shots while the performers moved rapidly about the sets, and we had to make some compromises.
“Now, with the new camera technology — and our multichannel wireless audio recording system — we are getting the best quality possible combined with all the angles and close-ups that viewers desire.”
Meanwhile, Neil said members can expect new website features to be available next week on Assylum.com.
He said that Assylum.com has worked with Mansion Productions to provide members with an array of additional options for navigating the website and customizing the user experience.
