SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Erotec has launched an Indiegogo campaign for Rocket Ride — Pleasure Bionics, a new sex toy for couples.
“There are significant changes happening in the pleasure products industry today,” the company said. “Increasing public acceptance is evidenced by movies like ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,’ and the fact that you can find vibrators at Target and CVS. This, at a time when entrepreneurial spirit is high, is drawing talent to the industry from areas like computer, electronics, medical and aerospace.
“With fresh perspective, this new wave is driving quality and innovation in an area once dominated by seedy images and substandard products. What this means for the user is greater choice, better products, and a prevailing public attitude that is more friendly about something that is just good clean fun.”
Rocket Ride features a Platinum-grade silicone body with embedded vibrating elements, a wire and the battery pack/controller. It also comes with a discreet storage case and a set of instructions. The Rocket Ride can be cleaned with soap and water and comes with a lint-free storage case.
According to the company, Rocket Ride was made to help encourage the use of condoms and has many different usage options that will make intimate pleasure products more fun for all kinds of couples.
“Erotec is committed to bringing the best of available technologies to the art of intimate pleasure products,” the Erotec team says. “Our current product, Rocket Ride, is an example of real innovation in the couple's toy category, and our newer projects in the development pipeline promise good things in the years to come. While our top priority is quality and safety, it's really all about making a good thing better.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including an official Rocket Ride t-shirt, the Rocket Ride itself (early supporters can get up to 55 percent off the retail price), or both. Erotec is also offering factory direct purchasing rights to a select number of retailers.
