WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration in the past two days has added 10 more penis pill brands to its advisory warning list.
Regulators appear to be ramping up enforcement of mislabeled prescription sexual enhancement pill brands. Just in the past two weeks, the U.S. regulator has placed 24 penis bill brands on its blacklist, and 26 since the start of the year.
All 10 products were identified by the FDA during examinations of international mail shipments.
The 10 additional brands placed on the blacklist are Black Mambo Premium, African Superman, Black Ant King, Herb Viagra, Stiff Nights, La Peppa Negra, Rhino Blitz gold 3000, Baolong, Male Silkworm Moth Nourishing Oral Liquid and Vim-25.
The brands’ makers each stated on packages that ingredients were "all natural" but laboratory analysis confirmed the pills were found to contain sildenafil, the active ingredient in the prescription Viagra, or, in the case of Male Silkworm Moth Nourishing Oral Liquid, Levitra.
