LOS ANGELES — The new film “Marriage 2.0” received the award for “Best Narrative” at New York’s CineKink 2015 film festival on Sunday, March 1.
The film, produced by LionReach Productions and distributed by Adam & Eve, received an Editor's Choice review from XBIZ.
Adult performer Andre Shakhti, who played Athena in the film, accepted the award on behalf of the film’s producers, cast, and crew.
“We are very grateful for this amazing honor from CineKink,” said "Marriage 2.0" screenwriter and producer Magnus Sullivan. “Our goal was to create a movie that happens to have sex but is not necessarily an adult film. We wanted to redefine how sex can be used in an artistic and meaningful way in films, and I believe we succeeded.”
The full-length movie is available to view on AdamAndEveTV.com.
“Marriage 2.0” features performances from adult entertainment stars such as India Summer, Ryan Driller, Dylan Ryan, Nina Hartley, and Mickey Mod, along with appearances from sex and relationship experts such as Emily Morse and Reid Mihalko. The film follows a couple (India Summer and Ryan Driller) on their search for personal freedom, as well as emotional and sexual bliss.
Cinekink, which ran from Feb. 24 to March 1, was established in 2003 as an effort to recognize and encourage positive depictions of sexuality and kink in film and television. The annual event features film dramas, comedies, documentaries as well as a variety of shorts and videos from filmmakers around the world.
