SAN FRANCISCO — Mona Wales will present three separate classes during Kink University’s “Fifty Skills of Grey” symposium at the San Francisco Armory, February 19-22.
Mona Wales has been featured in more than 75 scenes for companies including Kink.com, Evil Angel, TopGrl, and more.
The single-track event features all 50 BDSM and sexuality techniques outlined in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the weekend after the movie based on the book hits theaters.
Wales, an experienced fetish/kink performer and director known for her creative approach to topping, will present “Seductive Sensory Deprivation” with co-presenter Siouxsie Q, on Feb. 20 from 8-8:30 p.m.; and on Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. until noon, will present “Lifestyle Dominance & Submission,” also with co-presenter Siouxsie Q; and finally, from 3-4:30 p.m. will discuss doing “Dominance & Submission Scenes.”
“I am honored to be presenting alongside my heroes, mentors, and teachers, such as Danarama, Eve Minax, and Jiz Lee,” Wales explains. “I am also so thrilled to be co-presenting with Siouxsie Q of The Whorecast; her podcast has taught me the vital role of sex education in sex work.”
Held over four days, with 14 workshops and videos, Kink University presents a comprehensive crash course with its “Fifty Skills of Grey” symposium. Attendees may purchase full symposium, day, and individual workshop passes and also have the option of participating in the “Play Like Grey” dungeon party at Kink’s Armory on Saturday night, February 21. Pass holders may attend the play party for free; those not attending the symposium may purchase tickets.
In addition to the symposium, beginning January 15, visitors may watch a new series of “Fifty Skills” branded videos at KinkUniversity.com.
San Francisco-based live adult entertainment and nightlife magazine AfterDarkSF promoted the upcoming event in this month’s issue, featuring Wales on the cover and a full-color pictorial inside.
“I’m so thrilled to have been featured in AfterDarkSF,” adds Wales. “It’s a great magazine, which points the SF crowd in the right direction for late night and NSFW entertainment, and they’re definitely pointing people to the ‘Fifty Skills of Grey’ symposium this month [so] I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the Armory next weekend.”
The San Francisco Armory, home to the Kink.com studios, is located at 1800 Mission St. in San Francisco.
