LAS VEGAS — Adult performer Clover has been dropped by ATMLA, the talent agency which repped him, after his arrest last night in Las Vegas on a charge of domestic violence.
In a release sent to XBIZ this afternoon, ATMLA owner Mark Schechter said that “immediately upon learning of the arrest of Clover this morning, ATMLA severed its relationship with Clover.”
Schechter further said that “the ATMLA family is close knit with high professional standards, and we are appalled at his criminal acts.”
“Our industry already unjustly suffers from a tremendous amount of negative stigma,” Schecter said in the release. “There is no place in this industry for a person who perpetrates domestic violence against women, disrespect for women or a propensity for violence.
“Our prayers and sympathy go out to the victims,” he said. "I hope this becomes a lesson for anyone else in this industry who demonstrates this type of behavior that this industry will not tolerate violence against women."
The victim in the alleged battery reportedly is adult star Morgan Lee.
In a tweet this afternoon, prior to the AVN Awards in Las Vegas tonight, Lee said: "Even though shit went ruff today I'm for sure walking that red carpet and hope [makeup artist] Jenn Marie Jaen can walk with me."
According to Clark County Detention Center officials, the 27-year-old Clover — whose birth name is Casey Purser — was arrested on possession of cocaine and a domestic battery charge early this morning and is scheduled for a hearing in front of a judge on Monday at 7:30 a.m. Clover's bail has been set at $8,000.
