James Deen Receives Four 2015 XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — Adult superstar performer/director James Deen was honored with four 2015 XBIZ Awards at the annual gala, including Male Performer of the Year. The star-studded event was hosted by Deen and held at the JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at LA Live on Jan. 15.

Deen’s awards this year include All-Sex Series of the Year for the acclaimed “James Deen’s 7 Sins” from his studio, James Deen Productions; Best Scene – Non-Feature Release for Deen’s performance with Adriana Chechik, Mick Blue, Erik Everhard, Criss Strokes and John Strong in HardX’s “GangBang Me;” and Best Scene Vignette Release for Deen’s performance with Ava Dalush in New Sensations’ “I Love My Hot Wife.”

The full list of winners is here.

“I never cared about winning awards until I won my first one… and now I want to win them all! That shit feels fucking good!” Deen said. “It is like a pat on the back from my peers and colleagues – it feels fucking awesome!”

Hosting the event and receiving the awards helped cap off a year of rapid expansion and growth of the James Deen brand with the success of “James Deen’s 7 Sins” and a major distribution deal with Girlfriends Films.

Deen added, “Hosting the XBIZ Awards was terrifying, and I have no idea what made me think I could do that. Hopefully it helped me get over my stage fright a bit, so I will be able to not act like a total jack ass in the future if I am ever allowed on stage again.”

Deen’s popularity goes beyond his work in movies. From participating in the 2015 AIDSWalkLA, to donating 50 percent of his website proceeds to benefit breast cancer research and awareness this past October, to acting as Chairperson of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC), which provides representation for performers within the adult film industry, Deen’s outreach is proof of his desire to pay his successes forward.

A recent exclusive distribution deal with Girlfriends Films includes the entire James Deen Productions catalog, as well as new releases, T-shirts, signature sex toys, and merchandise.
