SAN FRANCISCO — The year-end holidays spurred a sharp rise in sales of incest-themed porn, says a new study conducted by GameLink.com.
The holidays yielded a 178.75 percent average increase in the consumption of family role-play porn between Oct. 1, 2014 and Jan. 9, 2015 by American consumers using the adult e-tail site.
GameLink said family role-play porn is defined as any movie containing fictional acts of incest between adult performers pretending to be related.
“The holidays are a time for family and clearly, it brings out a certain fascination for this kind of role-play porn showing the fantasy of taboo relationships among family members,” said Jeff Dillon, vice president of business development for eLine.com, parent company to GameLink.com.
The study shows Utah had the highest increase with 765.14 percent during the time period. Michigan was next with a 698.21 percent increase, followed by New York with 669.24 percent, Alaska, 524.22 percent, Arkansas, 452.36 percent, Virginia, 385.14 percent, and Texas, 288.25 percent.
The states with the least change in purchases made were Arizona, with a 5.65 percent decrease, and Kansas, with a 4.65 percent decrease. Ohio’s increase was only 4.98 percent increase; followed by Pennsylvania with a 5.98 percent increase, Washington state, 7.98 percent, Illinois, 9.89 percent, Colorado, 10.25 percent, and California with 15.20 percent.
The top 10 most popular family role play porn titles in order were “Father’s Forbidden Fantasies,” from Forbidden Fruit Films; followed by “Friends and Family 4,” Smash Pictures; “Mother’s Indiscretions #3,” Forbidden Fruit Films; “Keep it in the Family,” Digital Sin; “Brothers & Sisters 2,” New Sensations; “Mommy and Me #9,” Filly Films; “Lesbian Family Affairs,” Filly Films; “Father’s Day,” Digital Sin; “Sibling Sex Stories,” Forbidden Fruits Films; and “Our Father,” Digital Sin.
