Epoch Announces New Features, Address, Domain

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — After celebrating its 10th Anniversary last month, Epoch has not rested on its laurels. The Internet payment service provider has just rolled out a host of new features like MPA3 integration, a new official domain name and other new technical innovations.

Ten years into conducting business on EpochSystems.com and Paycom.net, the company is streamlining its branding efforts through the acquisition of Epoch.com. The switch comes because the different urls “created confusion in the marketplace and presented challenges to our branding efforts,” Epoch Communications Director Rand Pate said.

To go along with the change, Epoch clients are cautioned to change the billing verbiage on their websites. Epoch has developed a script to help clients with this purpose.

Along with a new domain name, Epoch has a new address. The company recently relocated to 2644 30th St., 2nd Floor, Santa Monica, Calif. 90405. Epoch’s toll-free number remains unchanged, but its new local number is (310) 664-5700.

On the technical side, Epoch has implemented and entirely new statistical and reporting interface for tracking, forecasting and reporting sales. It has incorporated a free and hosted version of MPA3’s cascading software, which allows its affiliates to direct denied transactions to alternate billing solutions, among several other new features.

In conjunction with the addition of MPA3, Epoch is introducing the Primary Affiliate Code (PAC), which will allow affiliates to combine multiple accounts into one code for a single payout. Additionally, affiliates may now adjust the minimum payout they would like to receive, the lowest being $50.

Launching later this month, Epoch will introduce worldwide live chat billing support. The live chat support function is intended to compliment the company’s phone support services. Also scheduled to launch are new affiliate marketing tools and an automated cross sell tool, of which more information will be released in the coming weeks.

A new feature within Epoch’s reporting utility is an instant product code generator that eliminates the need to send requests to tech support. Billing models that fall within established parameters will be immediately available.

The Epoch team will be attending the upcoming Internext show and the XBIZ Hollywood ’07 Industry Conference to meet current and prospective affiliates. Questions and suggestions about its new features and products can be sent to WhatsNew@Epoch.com.
