ASACP Adds Adult Who’s Who

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has added adult industry networking site Adult Who’s Who to its expanding list of Corporate Sponsors.

The Adult Who’s Who adult resource site is managed by MrSkinCash.com parent company SK Intertainment, launched in December 2005 as a tool for adult professionals to stay in touch, learn new names, faces and track which other professionals will be attending events and trade shows throughout the year.

“ASACP is making strides in protecting children, and advocating on behalf of the adult industry to stop a few wrongdoers from giving the rest of the industry a bad name,” said Derek Meklir, who runs Adult Who’s Who and serves as vice president of marketing for MrSkinCash.com. “There’s nobody we’d rather get involved with than ASACP. Adult Who’s Who is proud to be an ASACP Corporate Sponsor.”

ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine was happy to welcome AWW to the ranks of Corporate Sponsors that have made eliminating the spread of child pornography an important priority.

“Adult Who’s Who is helping make the Adult industry just that — a legitimate industry,” Irvine said. “Part of that means building relationships and networking, which is their specialty. Another part is promoting responsible business practices and self-regulation, which is what ASACP does. We’re glad the two can come together this way, and we’re grateful for the support of sites like Adult Who’s Who.”
