AMSTERDAM — Dream Logistics, parent company of European gay porn producer Staxus, announced that it has acquired the assets of Man's Best.
The company said the acquisition further strengthens its position in the European gay porn market.
Man's Best was established in 1990 and has been operating as a producer and distributor of gay porn. Over the years, the company has produced 960 full-length movies and has employed various directors including Rolf Hammerschmidt, Vlado Iresch, Jamie Hendrix and Alex Schnegr.
Staxus intends to adopt the Man's Best brand name and will continue to release new titles under this brand. Older movies will be digitally remastered, if necessary. The plan is to preserve and protect Man's Best legacy as well as to further establish the brand.
The Man's Best DVD shops, which are mostly targeted towards German consumers, will eventually be closed and merged with the existing online shops Homoactive.com and Radvideo.com, which are both owned by Dream Logistics.
Beginning immediately, all orders will be handled by Dream Logistics and shipped from the distribution center in Amsterdam. In addition, the Man's Best shops for retailers will be merged with StaxusSales.com.
Retailers can obtain further information about current and future orders by emailing sales@staxussales.com.
