EUREKA, Calif. — Humboldt Merchant Services today announced that Adam McDonald has been promoted to president.
The promotion is effective immediately for McDonald, who previously had been running all sales efforts for Humboldt since 2010 as director of business development.
He has more than 10 years experience in the payments industry and is an attorney who is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
Mc Donald told XBIZ that the company has seen "exponential growth" over the past four years, "and I am so proud to have been a part of the team to make it happen."
Eureka, Calif.-based Humboldt Merchant Services, which provides merchant accounts for the U.S. and Canada, has been providing customized credit card processing solutions for more than 20 years.
The processor places an emphasis on innovation and security, as well as first-class customer service.
"I'm thrilled to have been tapped to lead Humboldt into 2015 and beyond," McDonald said. "Our organization has been hard at work over the past year finalizing acquisitions that will allow us to expand our global footprint, including a new processing platform and high-risk gateway.
"Expect to hear some big announcements from us over the coming months."
