The Adultcon Awards, which will be held June 9 at the Key Club in Los Angeles, honors adult entertainment professionals based on votes tallied by industry peers.
For the purpose of nominating and selecting the winners, Live Entertainment has created the American Academy of Adult Arts and Entertainment (AAAAAE). The Academy will consist of 50 members from all facets of the adult entertainment industry. All 50 members will vote on the winners, with five of the 50 serving as the Board of Governors, which will handle the nomination process.
The awards show will feature a select lineup of 17 female talent categories, a spokesman for Live Entertainment said.
Winners will receive an award known as “The Necklace,” which spells out Adultcon with a diamond.
The show is expected to last one hour, with no entertainment scheduled.
A party will immediately follow the show.
There will be two red carpet arrivals. The first red carpet at 6 p.m. will be for nominees, sponsors, presenters and voters. A second red carpet at 9:30 p.m. will welcome industry guests for the awards show post-party.
Talent interested in submitting themselves for consideration should visit AAAAAE.org.
