KIIROO and Toon Timmermans Nominated for XBIZ Awards

LOS ANGELES — KIIROO and Toon Timmermans have been nominated for 2015 XBIZ and XBIZ Exec Awards.

“It’s an honor to be nominated for an XBIZ Exec award, and to see KIIROO nominated for ‘New Pleasure Products of the Year,’” KIIROO CEO Toon Timmermans says. “When I first got involved with KIIROO, of course I thought it had huge potential. Now, we’re starting to really see that other people feel that way, too.”

“Teledildonics are here, and it’s something that people are excited about,” Timmermans adds. “We’re so thrilled to be a part of the future of this industry.”

KIIROO was founded in 2013 with a mission to bring people together using teledildonic technology. In March of 2014, it wrapped an IndieGoGo campaign which caught the eye of private investors. Since then, KIIROO has swiftly moved to the forefront of teledildonic design.

Timmermans brought on young engineers, communications specialists, and creatives in April 2014. As a result, the company has been quickly moving forward and in the span of just a few months, a small team worked round-the-clock to fine-tune the brand’s image and designs.

“Working in a team of fewer than 10 people means that Toon is involved with every step of the process. Whereas alot of my peers never really even see their bosses, I’m working with mine directly every day,” said Sarah Nitchkey, the team’s Communications Manager. “As a team, we have a coherent vision of what KIIROO is about. I think that has a lot to do with leadership.”
