LOS ANGELES — "Carnalcopia" hosts Ashley Manta and Katie Mack have announced the winter lineup of guests to appear on their podcast, which is part of the Swingset Network.
Mack and Manta launched "Carnalcopia" this summer to share their perspective on sex, dating and relationships.
Manta is a writer, sex educator and e-commerce manager for The Pleasure Chest in L.A., while Mack is a writer and toy reviewer with a background in psychology.
Both hosts were recently listed on Kinkly.com’s “Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2014.”
“Katie and I are thrilled with the way that listeners and the sex-positive community have embraced ‘Carnalcopia’,” Manta said. “We’re looking forward to continuing the journey with them and our fantastic lineup of guests.”
"Carnalcopia" has already released episodes on phone sex, masturbation, sexual shame and body confidence, and a variety of other topics, as well as an interview with Alex S. Morgan about hands-on sex education and a conversation with industry icons Carol Queen and Robert Morgan Lawrence that was recorded live at CatalystCon West.
Upcoming episodes of “Carnalcopia” are slated to include interviews with Sophie Delancey of TheArtofBlowjob.com on feminist porn, Dr. Justine Marie Shuey on sex education, and Polly Superstar on memoir and storytelling. Mack and Manta will also welcome Emily Lindin of The UnSlut Project to discuss slut-shaming and sexual bullying.
The interview with Superstar will serve as a stop on the virtual book tour for her new book, “Polly: Sex Culture Revolutionary.”
Mack and Manta also announced that they will be presenting a session on Cultivating Shame Resilience at next year’s CatalystConEast conference.
"Slut-shaming is inextricably linked to the proliferation of sexual violence and gender inequality in oursociety,” Lindin said. “I am excited to have the opportunity to discuss this topic with Katie and Ashley on ‘Carnalcopia’."
