LOS ANGELES — The Adult Performer Advocacy Committee on Thursday extended an invite to members of the adult performer community to “Navigating Personal Relationships in Porn,” a question-and-answer panel which will take place during the first half of this Sunday's APAC meeting.
The panel discussion will cover "how to integrate friend, family, and romantic relationships into your life as an adult performer," the group said. The event will feature Relationship Expert Bannigan McDade, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Kate Loree, and Doctor of Clinical Sexology and Human Sexuality, Dr. Chris Donaghue.
APAC’s said its mission is "to support the safety, happiness, and well-being of individual performers, and our community."
APAC President Chanel Preston remarked, “We know it can be challenging to maintain healthy personal relationships in this industry because of the stigma and scrutiny associated with sex work. We hope this panel can help performers navigate and understand their own relationships while maintaining a career in the adult film industry.”
This panel is part of a series of monthly events planned by APAC to foster community and growth amongst performers.
