DAYTON, Ohio — Lisa Flynt, the daughter of Hustler publisher Larry Flynt, has been seriously injured in an Ohio car accident and is on life-support at Miami Valley Hospital.
The Dayton Daily News reported that the 47 year-old Flynt crashed into a tractor-trailer on Wednesday evening, was ejected from her car and trapped for 45 minutes.
Her husband, Glenn Fugate, said, "Seems like for some reason, she's holding on.”
Flynt, who has a history of seizures, had an alcohol level that police said was twice the legal limit when she ran a stop sign and smashed her vehicle.
“The doctors are verifying that she had a seizure,” Fugate said. “You can drink 10 gallons of beer and some people can still walk, but if you have a seizure you can’t comprehend. Who can’t see a semi?”
Dozens of friends attended a vigil held outside of the Riverside location where she was injured.
Doctors are expected to run tests to see if Flynt has any remaining brain activity.
