LONDON — Leading pleasure products manufacturer California Exotic Novelties is sponsoring the London Twisted Masquerade being held Oct. 9 at the Cirque Le Soir in London.
Presented by Social Exposure, the event will spotlight underground culture, dark fashion, the best in deep house and secret performances.
Various items from CalExotic’s Scandal Collection will be offered to attendees, who are encouraged to play, explore and be naughty.
Susan Colvin, president and CEO of CalExotics, said, “London is such a wonderful venue for an event like this. We’re excited to be included in this unique, sexy, creative party. Scandal fits right into the theme and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be the official pleasure product sponsor of the London Twisted Masquerade.”
The Scandal Collection encompasses an array of light fetish playwear. CalExotics attributes its success to the “Fifty Shades of Grey” phenomenon, or the explosive mainstream interest in fetish following the release of the BDSM-oriented erotic novel by E. L. James.
Scandal includes cuffs, restraints, paddles, masks that feature red brocade fabric, as well as corset styles and lace accents. Plushy on the interior, the items are reportedly comfortable and strong.
“We enjoy teaming up with Sally Golan and her amazing team at Social Exposure for many of her delicious parties,” added Desiree Duffy, director of public relations for CalExotics. “Scandal is the perfect accessory to the night’s festivities and we hope everyone has a sassy time with them at the London Twisted Masquerade.”
Rather than attend as spectators, Social Exposure invites guests to be part of the circus, as guests are encouraged to dress theatrically, with black masks, leather, lace, black feathers or chains to enhance their ensemble.
The inside of Cirque Le Soir will be decorated with large peacock feathers and candelabras, and their will be interactive performers to entertain.
