LINCOLNSHIRE, England — U.K.-based mother and entrepreneur, known by her blogging alias Cara Sutra, has earned herself a place in the final line-up of The Mumpreneur Awards.
The annual ceremony aims at celebrating parents throughout the U.K. who manage the task of juggling business with family life. The mother of two from North Lincolnshire, who was recently profiled in the New York Daily News, runs CaraSutra.co.uk, a website focusing on all aspects of sexuality including adult sex education, opinion features and adult product reviews.
Cara Sutra has been shortlisted for the Voice category, which is open to exceptional Mumpreneur bloggers. Having established the Cara Sutra blog and brand as an independent online resource over the past six years, Cara Sutra says she hopes she has what it takes to walk away with the prize.
Additionally, Cara Sutra is also in the running for The Inspirational Business Mum 2014, which will be awarded to the mom “who is an inspiration to all women in business,” and could walk away with a prize.
“I am delighted to have been nationally recognized for my achievements regarding the Cara Sutra blog and for successfully spreading awareness of important and fascinating sexuality issues,” she said. “I feel honored to have reached the finalist stages in the Mumpreneur Awards 2014 and wish everyone involved the very best of luck.”
The winners will be announced at The Mumpreneur Conference and Awards, being held at the Heart of England Centre in Warwickshire.
