NEW YORK — Cleis Press announced the release of “Penthouse Variations on Oral: Erotic Stories of Going Down,” a book series inspired by Penthouse Variations magazine.
Featuring both new and established erotic writers, including Alison Tyler, the collection of short stories presents couples’ amorous oral exploits. According to a release, the stories “explore the delicious ways this intimate act can be affectionate and tender, a testament to devotion, or an expression of pure, hot lust.”
Brenda Knight, who was recently named Publisher of the Year at Cleis Press, said, “I have been a reader of all Penthouse magazines since college. The articles and fiction helped form my sensibility and developed my eye for erotic excellence.”
“Penthouse Variations On Oral” will be distributed by Publishers Group West and represents the premiere title of a six-part series from Cleis and Penthouse.
“[In ‘Penthouse Variations on Oral,’] mouthwatering words drip like honey off the page,” said Alison Tyler, editor of Afternoon Delight. “Lick your lips and savor the sweetness after you devour each sultry story.”
Executive Editor of Penthouse Variations magazine Barbara Pizio served also as the “Penthouse Variations” erotica series from Cleis Press. Her writing about sex, kink and relationships has been featured in Penthouse magazine and she has edited more than a dozen books in the best-selling “Letters to Penthouse” series from Grand Central Publishing. She has also authored screenplays for Penthouse Studios.
