The half-hour series, which is based on Einhorn’s coffee table book, “Naked Happy Girls,” follows the photographer as he meets real-life women and convinces them to model for him.
“Andrew has the kind of job most men would die for, except it’s really not all babes all the time — just 9-5,” Playboy TV Vice President Mark Mauceri said. “In between, the reality of struggling in New York City, a demanding publisher, a judgmental mother, and girlfriends who can’t get comfortable with his line of work turn an otherwise perfect life upside down.”
According to Mauceri, the show offers viewers an authentic portrait of the life of an erotic artist.
In addition to watching Einhorn meet his models and convince them to work with him, the show will offer viewers interviews with the women, who explain their reasons for deciding to pose nude.
According to Einhorn, his charisma plays a big part in helping to convince non-professionals to pose for him.
“I’m lucky that I can make women laugh,” Einhorn said. “Laughter is happy and happy is sexy and sexy is nice. I like sexy pictures. I like happy sexy pictures. Most people do.”
The show will debut Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. (EST) and 10 p.m. (PST).
