Incumbents running for another two-year term include 1st Amendment attorney Jeffrey Douglas; Mara Epstein, business development consultant with XBIZ; AVN Senior Editor Mark Kernes; 1st Amendment attorney Reed Lee; and Naked Sword CEO Tim Valenti.
Challengers include attorney Michael Fattorosi; investment advisor Martin P. O’Malley; David Pezzullo, aka Bo, director of sales and marketing for East Coast News; Jesse Spencer, aka, Mr. Marcus; Lynn Swanson, general manager of M&M Sales; and attorney John Yates. All are running for the first time.
Final ballots must be postmarked by Dec. 18.
The 2007 Board will be announced at the FSC annual membership meeting Jan. 12 at 5 p.m. in the Marco Polo Room, # 701-702, at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
The FSC Board of Directors oversees the trade association’s activities and sets the organizational agenda and direction with strategic planning. In addition to oversight and leadership, Board members also sit on working committees, including: Executive Committee, Government & Legal Committee, Membership Committee, Internet/Technology Committee, Fundraising Committee and the Public Information Committee. The Board will meet 10 times in 2007 and all members volunteer their time without pay or remuneration.
