WASHINGTON — The Food and Drug Administration today issued new advisory warnings for two penis pill brands — Arize and Herbal Vigor Quick Fix.
The FDA says the penis pill brands claim they are "all natural" but both contain undeclared ingredients.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Arize was found to contain sildenafil, the active ingredient in the prescription Viagra, while Herbal Vigor Quick Fix contained tadalafil, the active ingredient in the prescription drug Cialis,
Both penis pills were sold at brick-and-mortar retail shops and on the web.
"Consumers should stop using this product immediately and throw it away. Consumers who have experienced any negative side effects should consult a healthcare professional as soon as possible," the FDA said in an advisory.
