LOS ANGELES — Baci Lingerie today announced the launch of its #BaciSelfie social media contest in celebration of the release of its new “Dreams Hosiery” collection.
The company said the contest — set to officially kick off Aug. 1 — was created to generate brand awareness at the consumer level. By using the power of Facebook, retailers on #TeamBaci can gain exposure and new customers by joining the conversation about Baci’s next lingerie product.
The contest invites consumers to submit photos of themselves wearing Dreams Hosiery with everyday attire (for example, “Nurse” thigh highs with denim shorts, “Cop” fishnets under a pencil skirt, etc.). Entries will be posted to the #BaciSelfie Contest app on the Baci Lingerie Facebook page, where votes will be tallied to determine the winners. Baci will be administering the contest using a dedicated application that will maximize brand exposure and ensure fair results.
Working with its social media and marketing team, Baci said retailers have the opportunity to share, vote, comment, and promote themselves as a carrier of Baci Lingerie to consumers everywhere.
Baci noted that the contest was announced live on the Sex with Emily podcast on July 15, and subsequently promoted to her social media following. Additional support is also expected from bloggers, models, and trade media.
U.S. retailers are strongly encouraged to contact Xgen Products — or their international regional distributors — to stock up on Dreams Hosiery in preparation for te promotion, Baci said.
