CineKink Festival Tour Kicks Off in Portland, Ore.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The 11th annual 2014 CineKink Festival Tour is kicking off with a one-night screening of sex-positive and kink-friendly films in Portland, Ore. on Wednesday, August 6.

CineKink PDX will begin at 7 p.m. with a screening of the shorts program, "Decade of Decadence," followed by “Best of CineKink/2014,” at 9 p.m. All screenings will take place at the Clinton Street Theater, located on 2522 SE Clinton St.

"Portland is my hometown and it's always fun to visit old friends with a new batch of kinky cinema,” said Lisa Vandever, CineKink co-founder and director. "I also love coming back to the Clinton Street Theater, which has been so supportive of alternative film over the years."

"Decade of Decadence" is a retrospective look at some of the festival's favorite shorts, probing a range of sexual proclivities and perversities, culled from a decade's worth of screenings.

Featuring one selection from each year of CineKink's existence, the steamy sampler includes “Pornographic Apathetic” (T. Arthur Cottam), “Haircut” (Bryan Jackson), “Sullivan’s Last Call” (Francesca Rizzo), “Hitchcocked” (David Young), “Teat Beat of Sex” (Signe Baumane), “Kink, Inc.” (Casey Clark), “The Pinky Song” (Rick Ferguson), “Piss” (Bette Bentley and Vincent Peone), “Tooshie Smooshie” (Jessica Kink) and “Impact” (Mollena Williams).

The "Best of CineKink/2014" short films program is comprised of short productions awarded prizes by jurors at the annual CineKink NYC festival, which takes place each year in late February, with works ranging from “documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit.”

This year’s edition includes “Un Bisous Americain” (J.M. Darling), “Music Box” (Anna Brownfield), “Tom’s Gift” (Todd Verow and Charles Lum), “Human Warmth” (Christophe Predari), “Another Happy Anniversary” (Miranda Bailey), “Trains” (Paul Deeb), “Dear Jiz” (Ms. Naughty) and “de-railed” (Quinn Cassidy and Creamy Coconut).

Admission is $8 at the door and $6 in advance, per screening; and $12 at the door and $10 in advance for both. Only those 18 and over will be admitted.
