LAS VEGAS — Male chastity device manufacturer CB-X says it is furthering its reach in tinsel town by signing on as gift bag co-sponsor of the Red Carpet Style Lounge, honoring nominees of the upcoming 66th Annual Emmy Awards.
The manufacturer has garnered significant mainstream attention with highlights on Huffington Post Live's news show and the HBO hit series, “Californication.” CB-X will place a variety of its designer male chastity devices in the gift bags given to celebrities and other attendees of the A-list award show.
"We're thrilled to be part of the Red Carpet Style Lounge honoring Emmy award nominees," said Nikki Yates, corporate director of CB-X Male Chastity. "In recent years we've seen a trend of these once extremely niche fetish devices take root in the mainstream. With the ever-growing popularity of male chastity among men of all sexual orientations, we're sure some of TV's leading men will be pleasantly surprised when they open their gift bags."
Past media coverage of the Red Carpet Style Lounge have included networks and shows such as HGTV, Access Hollywood, and Entertainment Tonight. Mainstream magazine and newspaper coverage have included Allure, Us Weekly, Star, People, LA Times, NY Times and Huffington Post.
"We're excited for this chance to help fill the VIP gift bags this year," Yates continued. "It's a great way to get our product into the hands of Hollywood's elite and the press. Mainstream exposure like this will only benefit our distributors and retailers in the long run, as more and more couples discover how male chastity can spice up their love lives."
The 2014 Emmy Awards will be held at the NOKIA L.A. Live Theater in L.A. on Aug. 25 and is scheduled to air on NBC at 5 p.m. PST. The 66th Annual Ceremony will be hosted by comedian Seth Meyers and honors the best in the telecommunication arts and sciences industry.
The Red Carpet Style Lounge is not affiliated with the Emmy Awards or Television Academy and is a private pre-event for industry VIPs, award nominees and the media.
