ANME Founders Show Comes to Close

BURBANK, Calif. – The ANME Founders Show came to a close on its third day today, with exhibitors praising the event’s success in generating business.

Several tech-advanced products debuted at ANME, including the app-controlled panty vibrator Vibease. The product’s inventor Dema Tio told XBIZ he developed the products after being in a long distance relationship with his wife five years ago. Among the product’s highlights is its accompanying erotic audiobooks. The company recently completed an Indiegogo campaign that raised $130,000 for production of the Vibease.

“The app allows couples to text each other privately and to create secret names for vibrating patterns that they come up with,” Tio said. “It really helps build privacy.”

Ohmibod presented its own app-controlled panty vibe as well. The blueMotion Bluetooth-enabled wearable vibe was spotlighted on PCMag.com. Compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, the blueMotion massager connects to smartphones via the  OhMiBod Remote, an intuitive interface that allows the creation of unlimited vibration patterns on the fly. Customers can download OhMiBod Remote at no cost from the iTunes and Play Stores.

Crave previewed innovative new products and also showcased two glass dildos, the Forte and Curve. The company also exhibited growth with the addition of two new sales staff.

“The Forte and Curve dildos feature couple and solo designs,” she said. “They also have different diameters that provide different forms of sensation.”

Fun Factory brought the newest member to its team to ANME. Sonny Farnsworth was formerly the buyer for Museum of Sex in New York, where she established a bond with the manufacturer.

“I interacted with them a lot so it was an easy transition to come to work with my friends,” she told XBIZ. “Coming from a retail background, I’m getting to know the industry more now, but I’m definitely familiar with what customers wants. Fun Factory is a great brand because it encourages exploration and it’s not even targeting any specific gender. They have products for everyone.”

Classic Erotica revealed new additions to its Crazy Girl collection, which was created with all natural ingredients that are PH balanced for women.

“Our new products received a great response at ANME,” Classic Erotica’s Lynn Swanson told XBIZ. “There was a lot of traffic at the show and we were excited to meet so many international buyers.”

Nasstoys focused on its new line of products for men at ANME. The eight-item Mack Tuff collection is directed at “manly men” of all sexual orientations.

The Mack Tuff collection includes two penis pumps, a traditional pump and one that vibrates, as well as realistically shaped penis extenders, a vibrating inflatable dong, ribbed cockrings, adjustable cock ties made of high-end silicone, truck tire shaped cockrings, and the Ribbed Vibrating Silicone Penis.

Baci Lingerie International Sales Director Helle Panzieri told XBIZ the brand is coming off a successful trade show season that included the ETO Show in Birmingham, U.K.

“We’re really excited to be here,” Panzieri said. “Being set up at in the main room with all the big boys has been amazing; we’ve met a lot of new people.”

Baci Lingerie exhibited the Dreams, Corset, and Fetish Collections, as well as After Dark, Baci’s first dedicated hosiery line, and Dreams Hosiery.

Angel Falls was among the new brands to debut at ANME. The towel-like product wraps around a showerhead to funnel water to a woman’s clitoris. Angel Falls founder Melanie Edwards told XBIZ that she discovered the simulating power of water as a young girl in the pool.

“We like to say that it’s powered by the shower,” she said. “It’s simple and clean. Women can adjust it just by moving their body around under the stream.”

Si Novelties debuted it wide range of extreme dildos and novelty products – such as its dildo shaped air freshener.

“These products are sure conversation starters and are fast becoming bestsellers because they’re unique and different,” Si Novelties’ Steven Schwartz said. “Si Novelties has been around for a while. It’s our packaging and price points that set us apart in the industry.”

As the brand’s newly announced prime distributor, Joy Novelties exhibited several new products from Nobu Toys. The new releases included the Swani (fushia) – a swan-shaped vibrator that comes in two sizes; Yuki (purple) – a powerful vibe bullet; Uno (fushia) – an intimate g-spot massager; Bota (fushia) – a textured phallus; Tigo (fushia) – a c-spot vibrator; and Wavy (fushia) – a combo g-spot and c-spot massager.

“We’re getting a phenomenal response at the show,” Nobu Toys’ Alain Elmaleh said. “We also introduced new marketing and POS materials.”

Eden Lube exhibited its variety at ANME, which included multiple size bottles and packets. According to company owner Rafi Maman, Eden Lube is produced in a homeopathic laboratory. He told XBIZ that the company is expanding.

“We would like to work with all distributors,” he said. “Any companies that are interested in working with us should contact us for more information. Here at ANME we received a lot of amazing feedback. I’d like to thank the founders for providing this opportunity to introduce our new line. Many retailers are excited about it.”

Kheper Games introduced the new Intimate Encounters line. The line is intended to keep dating throughout their relationships. Items in the line include 100 Date Nights, Romantic Recipes and the Intimate Rewards game.

Vibratex debuted an upgraded Rabbit Habit, featuring customizable motions and new packaging. According to the company, the Rabbit Habit Original Deluxe has been updated to offer silent, deeply satisfying power and a finely tuned body fit for extended, intense pleasure.

The Rabbit Habit also has new packaging designed to stand out on retailer’s shelves. Inside the package is a branded tray, which holds the product in place and also acts as an independent product stand for in-store display purposes. Along with the new packaging, Vibratex offers retailers merchandising posters to highlight the Rabbit Habit’s benefits to consumers.
