UKAP Party Announced, to Coincide With XBIZ EU

LONDON — This year's UKAP (UK Adult Producers) Party will take place in London on Friday, Sept. 26, to coincide with XBIZ EU,  the international digital media conference that draws leading U.K., European and American industry players for three days of education, networking and business opportunities.

The party will take place in a new West London venue, a simple tube or cab ride from the XBIZ show hotel.

The event is being co-hosted by Sex & Censorship, a prominent U.K.-based non-profit anti-censorship campaign that launched several months ago and has been making headlines ever since.

“The UKAP party has, for a number of years, been the best and most intimate industry gathering of the year. Holding it alongside XBIZ this year will bring together the two best U.K. industry events, allowing XBIZ attendees to party with the cream of the U.K.'s models and producers,” said Jerry Barnett, founder of Sex & Censorship. "Expect this to be the party of the year!”

According to Barnett, this year's venue, a refurbished Victorian loft space, is a “hidden gem tucked away in West London” that features both outdoor and indoor space. The party is open only to XBIZ EU- and UKAP-affiliated people.

“The UK Adult Producers association are delighted to support Jerry Barnett and his endeavors with Sex & Censorship and XBIZ EU,” said Terry Stephens of UKAP. “In view of what is going on in the U.K. right now, we have decided to forego our usual awards event in favor of a party, which we hope to unite the adult business community through a great night of entertainment and networking, and look forward to celebrating this event with XBIZ EU.”

XBIZ EU, slated for Sept. 25-28, is taking place at The Hilton London Metropole Hotel, a brand new venue for the digital media conference located in Central London, just minutes from Oxford Street and Marble Arch.

The Hilton London Metropole Hotel, located just blocks from Paddington Station — the terminal that provides a quick transportation solution to and from the airport via the Heathrow Express — is now offering special room rates to attendees of XBIZ EU2014 at £175 a night, which includes breakfast.

For a limited time, made possible by the sponsors of XBIZ EU 2014, members of XBIZ.net qualify to receive free or discounted show registration based on their area of business.
