MONTREAL — Mile High Media announced today that it has teamed with director Nica Noelle for the launch of new gay romance studio, “Icon Male.”
The studio’s debut release will be “Forgive Me Father,” slated to hit stores mid July. The films will all be written and directed by Noelle.
“In this series, parishioners go into the confessional booth seeking forgiveness, and as they confess we revisit the sins they’ve committed. I grew up very Catholic, and I’ve been to confession quite a bit, so I make it as authentic as possible,” Noelle said.
“Passion, intimacy, real body language — these are universal indicators of great sex. I’ve also stuck to my formula of putting ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. My characters aren’t exotic or avant-garde; they’re everyday men facing everyday temptations,” Noelle added.
The producers noted that the imprint’s movies would be unique to the gay marketplace and embody what fans have come to expect from Noelle and Mile High Media – genuine and intimate exchanges between performers.
“Hot sex is hot sex, whether it’s two men, or two women, or a man and a woman, or a transwoman,” added Noelle. “This is the approach I always take, and fans will see this in Icon Male. It’s some of my best work to date.”
Other Icon Male series slated to release include WWII period piece “Prisoners of War,” “Men Seeking Men,” and “Forbidden Encounters.”
“We are very pleased to have Nica once again working with us. She is a mastermind at her craft and creates gay and straight erotica like no other. There is no one else we would team with to launch our gay romance line,” said Jon Blitt, vice president of Mile High Media.
